Emergencies

      In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours please call ahead if possible and proceed directly to our practice. 
   

     For after hour emergencies, call us at 272-4704. If we are here, we will answer the phone. If we are not here, the answering machine will give you Dr. Smith's cell phone number (636-4000). If the number is not on the machine or Dr. Smith cannot be reached, we advise that you contact the pet emergency center. They open whenever our hospital is closed (nights, weekends, and holidays) with a veterinarian and a support staff always on the premises. They will take care of the emergency medicine and refer you back to us when we open.
